August 15 & 16 2015 saw the world's first convention dedicated to Spartacus: the SpartaCon Rebels Convention in Waldorf, Maryland.
Gale Force Nine were there, hosting games of Spartacus: A Game of Blood & Treachery. Many of the cast from the show were in attendance, including Liam McIntyre (Spartacus), who is an avid player of the game.
The two-day event had some other interesting events, including live gladiator combat, as well as gladiator training led by Manu Bennett (Crixus).
